Artist, Gabrielle (Gabby)
|
When other children dreamed of being a firefighter or veterinarian, I wanted to be an artist. Thankfully, my parents encouraged my interest in the arts. In college, I enjoyed learning the human form through figure drawing. My college years are cherished because I was surrounded by so much creative energy.
I chose Illustration as my major because I enjoy illustrating books for independent authors and bringing their characters to life. I currently freelance as a graphic designer, illustrate children's books, teach art and make mixed media art incorporating paint, textiles, found objects and jewelry design. |
